Life offers little spare time these days to undertake mundane chores such as defrosting the freezer compartment of your appliance 🙄 With frost free technology, you don't have to.
Frost free technology works by removing moisture from the fridge and freezer cabinets and trapping it against an evaporator coil. The coil is fitted with a heater which periodically energises to defrost the ice. As the ice defrosts, it is channelled outside of the appliance into a tray where the heat from another component (the compressor) allows the water to evaporate into the atmosphere.
